The Bureau of Immigration at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) terminal 2 confirmed that Senator Antonio Trillanes IV left the country in the afternoon of May 17, 2016.
The Immigration officer who refused to be identified said Trillanes boarded a Philippine Airlines flight PR100 for Honolulu, Hawaii at 5:30 p.m.
The source added that the senator said he was on a business trip.
Trillanes was seen wearing a dark blue shirt with large two suitcases when he entered NAIA terminal 2 for check-in.
The Bureau of Immigration source, however, said they had no information about the date of his return in the country.”
